So I finally Shattered..

Hey Fellows!
I am sharing with you a shattering experience my nail went through this evening..

Shattering is possibly the easiest thing which had happened to happen to nail art. I personally am a big fan of animal prints and shatter very strongly reminds me zebra ones.

This is shatter nail polish by Aco which is a part of a leading brand in Canada named Ardene. Ardene is quite a famous line there for  Apparel, Shoes, Accessories,Cosmetics, Jewellery and Bags. You may remember some of Aredene stuff I had given away in both of my give aways. The have an affordable line of goodies and I am personally fan of their jewellery and bags/wallets. You also may see some of their jewellery pieces on my blog sale.

Anyhow, this was my first experience with any of their cosmetics which as told go by the name of Aco. As everything else it is pretty inexpensive. I got a pair of  colored base coat and shatter polish for $ 5 + tax which makes it Rs. 500/-. This is super affordable.
Unfortunately I misplaced my base polish which was also a great one. I tried this right when I got and was not much successful. After going through some reviews I came to know that with shatter polishes Lesser is More.
Thus on my second try I finally managed to it beautifully. I tried it with different nail colors and loved them all. It is actually matte so I topped it with a clear top coat and it rocks..:)

Lets see how I did.
P.S. If any of you wanna have these polishes,Let me know cuz I am getting a couple more in a week or two..
Cheers
Cheeky Chic

  1. I'm not a big fan of the shatter polish, but i love that you used different colors on your nails :-) ...

P.S. Thanks for following my blog! I've been a terrible blogger lately, but just wanted to let you know that I love Sephora liners (not the sparkly ones though, well they're okay), but most that I've used are so easy to apply, you should try one! :-)

  3. Love your shatter effect. I wonder of its the brand, or the way you have applied it, but it's not giving that reptilian effect at all. I hate that about shatter polishes. Great job.

    1. I dont know myself...I did try to go a little diagonally because this is how it spreads well in a thin layer. Yet I observed,it cracks more vertically than horizontally. No complains:it gives me beloved zebra effect..:)
      Thanks for liking..:)
