Hey guys!!
The lighter shades try to disappear on blending when not wet. It was quite a shock when I applied them on my forearm. After a minute or so, my forearm grazed my pillow and, I wondered where did all of them go. So they do not have much staying power. Applying an eye shadow primer kind of resolves most of the issues except falling off of the shimmery ones. But once wet no primer is needed and there is a smooth result all over. You can easily see the difference between dry and wet applications.
So this is my review after a long long time. I know most of you are celebrating Boxing Day with all zeal and zest. Yet I am here blogging and sharing my experiences which took most of my last ten days that I spent just trying new things and exploring new angle so I bring you Lancôme color design eye brightening all in one eye brightening and liner palette in Bronze Amour.
Know it!!
It is supposed to be all in one palette claiming to fulfill all eyelid make up needs in one go.

There are 5 shades to go each part of eye, including even an allover base and eyeliner shade. Others are for lid, crease and highlighting.

The quantity for “lid” seems more than all other so does the “allover base” section. These shades are in a black compact case with two applicators one tapered and other sponge applicator. It also gives quite an operating and user friendly mirror inside lid.

It also has a booklet inside that describes a pictorial on creating day and night looks. It really seems super helpful.
Use it!!
This is a palette which totally dodged me off. It is my first Lancôme product ever and I was quite excited to try this. Full of high expectations, I tried it on and was surprised.

All of the shades have shimmery/ metallic texture. The shimmer is not infused in and kind of shows up a little. That tried to make the shadow tend to fall of the lid and a little difficult to apply or blend. This really really shocked me to core. Is this the Lancôme everyone raves about?? But I came to know I was wrong with my technique instead of product.
It took me almost 25 minutes to do an eye initially. Once I just tried wetting the applicator and apply on other eye I was knocked off my feet once again but completely pleasantly. It took me less than 3 minutes to apply all 5 shades. It was as if I have miraculously switched the palette with something else. The wetting seemed to have done the job amazingly. Application was easy, color was buildable and blendable, nothing tried to fall of the lids and the shimmer was more subtle. All in all it matter of minutes my views changed from black to white.

So what one needs to do is wet the applicator and enjoy the rich application.
The shades are as following
All over base: Light peach shade with obvious shimmer. This is supposed to be applied all over the eye but I didn’t feel much of a difference with or without. .I just use it near my tear duct that kind of does a well enough job; illuminating that part. I even sometimes use it for brow highlighting too. It is not very pigmented when used dried but is awesome when wet.
Lid: Brownish peach shade. This shade has more metallic finish that shimmery. This makes it an amazing shade. It does not at all falls off and is quit pigmented even when dry. And I feel myself reaching out for it more often than first one.
Crease: A chocolate brown shade which is a blend of shimmer and metallic in proper amounts. This again is a very gorgeous shade and just using this with lid shade kind of does a whole job even if one skips the other three. It is pigmented too so stays put easily.
Highlighter: Bright golden shade. It is almost like all over base shade, having an absolute shimmer to it that strikes out along the brow quite prominently. Again it is not very pigmented when dry as I would like my highlighter to be. But being wet gives absolute application.
Liner: it is a dark chocolate bean like shade. It is a somewhat like lid and crease shades, metallic and a little shimmery, well pigmented, and not as dry either. One finds to have a very little amount that could do a lot on eye. I have used it as eyeliner but use it in my outer eye corner to give more definition and boy it works wonders both ways.
The shade over all look quite fantastic and remind me a little of my Avon quad in cocoa glow (See HERE), especially the lid and crease ones. The pigmented ones are easy to apply, stay well and are blended very smoothly.

So all in all I find that this palette has amazing things to offer. If you are really in to shimmery ones this will definitely attract you. Being dry kind of buzzes me off sometimes. The good thing is that even skipping shades even works out pretty well. Who says you need to use all of them to create goodness. One can come up with any combo to do wonders. I created following look using this palette with eye liner shade in outer corner only.

The packaging is really good. A strong case, which really tells, it comes from a top notch brand. Secure clip to keep lid intact and a big mirror makes it a perfect compact for travelling or keeping in bag. Two applicators are offered one for eyeliner and other for general application.
