Wet n Wild Mega liner liquid eye liner is shaped like an ordinary eye liner container with a rather longer handle than the bottle with the product. To my surprise, it had the brush tip instead of the felt tip.

There is rubber tiered on the mouth of container that makes it easy to wipe off excess product from the brush. The handle of the eye liner being elongated gives a perfect grip during application.

Use it!!

I am normally a gel eye liner user and recently have felt that I have not used a liquid one in like past 3-4 years. The very curiosity brought me to give them another chance. I decided to re start with the good yet in expensive ones to get the hang of them.

 Wet n Wild Mega liner contrary to its name is not much of a mega. With mega, my thoughts were that either this eye liner is extremely bulky or the application will focus on creating thick lush eye lines for dramatic looks. Whereas the case in entirely opposite in both regards. Not only is the product a “handy” one (Literally) but it is capable of drawing the slimmest lines I have been able to produce since ages.

The fine tip brush is really really fine. It is slim and accurate. It took a bit of time to get used to the brush application but finally after drawing and erasing one or two times I get to draw a perfect line, which was a beauty itself. It was so precise, and was glued to the lid like a natural line; neither being super glossy or extremely matte. It took absolutely some half a minute on clock to dry up and stay for more than 10 hours.

The shade I have picked is 861 Black/Noir. The pigmentation is really great. There are no peek holes through the eye liner. The application is smooth and runny. The black color is pretty intense and delivers a vivid hue.

 Being a revert to liquid liners, I had a bit of a difficulty in coping with the fine brush. I seriously had to get to some tutorials to understand the application better and found out that I have to stretch the eye a little with finger, start in middle, go towards outer edge creating a wing , then fill up to the tear duct and lastly alter the wing if I need to; smaller or larger as I want. This pretty much works fine for me.

As I originally was working with the mere brush tip instead of sweeping the whole of it across the eye lid, the eye liner brush being really fine picked less of the product esp if I wipe it off the ridge before. That meant that almost all the steps I have mention above needed a separate dip in the liquid each time. It usually takes bit of a time. So I switched to sweep the length of the brush along the eye border. This was a little tricky as instead of short strokes I went for a long one run, and each time I ended up making a thicker line than I had initially wanted to be. It did save my time but it was risky. Hand goes little unsteady and you may have to do the whole eye again.

Now, I know this eye liner is not water proof but it is absolutely prone to anything wet. I couldn’t believe when I washed my hand and just with contact of water, the liner just disappeared from the scene. It didn’t even left any mark behind. That certainly means that this one must not be used on lower eye line and those who suffer from sweaty eye lids either apply it over eye shadowed lids, or apply a pressed powder beforehand. Having said that it also means that the eye liner gets removed super easily. I was even able to take it off with a water soaked cotton pad.

All in all, this product strikes as quite a nice one for me. It sure would have topped my eye liners only if it had been water proof or at least not that much drainy.
