Tried & Tested: Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

A new blast to my skin care routine.

Know it!!
Liz Earle hot cloth Cleanser comes in a 100 ml pump bottle with two pieces of muslin cloth and a Pouch to store these three things in. There is also an instructions page for step by step procedure.

The packaging is quite sturdy. What I like the most was the pump. One is really able squeeze out any amount of product that is needed. The pump is really control able. I wish my foundations had such a good control over product ooze.

The cleanser reached me wrapped in tissue paper bearing official seal along with a Liz Earle products brochure and a personalised note.:)

Personally speaking I am far more in to cleansers that target taking off the impurities than the normal face wash thingy. I usually even wash my face with a cleanser than reach out for a face wash for three reason. I think that a cream based cleanser cleanses skin much better and secondly, since my skin is dry, the normaly face washes make my skin go drier where as a cleanser keeps it supple. Third reason being I enjoy massaging a product on to my face as long as I want and it will still leave my skin hydrated unlike the face washes.
Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser
Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot cleanser basically claims on these three things all together that It cleanses good, polishes the face and gives ample opportunity to massage for blood circulation.
This actually is a thick cream based cleanser. None of the other product I have used for cleansing purpose have this thick tooth paste like consistency. It is rich with aromatic herb fragrances which namely are Rosemary, Chamomile, Cocoa butter and Eucalyptus essential oil. One really feels a blast of freshness the moment it is brought near to skin.
The procedure normally directs to massage the cleanser on face in gentle circular strokes. Afterwards take product off the muslin cloth that is dampened with luke warm water and then splash cold water all over.

Directions

Personally speaking, the inclusion of muslin cloth is a hand down success. I loved this idea. The muslin cloth very gently takes off all the dirt or makeup. It is not gritty yet does the work like a good scrubber. Keeping it a little warm makes it easily take off the worked up cleanser. It can reach every nook and cranny of  face Like under nostrils or along the lower lash line.

Muslin Cloth

The cleanser cleanses pretty well. I have once or twice used it after a late night venture when my eyes were dropping enough to lead me straight to bed. A few secs of using this cleanser and  muslin cloth, they removed any hint of makeup from my face. I cold literally feel my skin breath. My skin was clear and perfectly happy.

Most of all I admire the afterwards feeling I get on my skin. It doesn't make skin itchy and tense like a face wash does. And leaves it so SUPPLE,  firm and energetic that has made fall in love with this product. It really feels like the skin has been polished in to an obvious glow.

A teeny tiny thing that I didn't really understand is that it is directed to use on "dry face". Being already a creamy thick formula it does need a dab of water during massaging.

These are a few of test I conducted with this cleanser.
My hand here is covered with 4 layers of product: a primer, foundation, powder and blusher.

I cleansed the Left side with Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish.

 The results are obvious.

Residue on muslin cloth from the left side
The right  side of hand was cleansed by another cleanser that I was using earlier. Then I cleansed the both sides individually again with Liz earle clanser.

Residue on Muslin cloth from the Right side
You can easily see the liz earle side has far less residue that the other cleanser side.

This is me trying it with the most stubborn eye liner I have: Maybelline  Eyestudio Gel Eyeliner. While the cleanser makes the eyeliner go loose the cloth takes it off the skin  perfectly.

I am very much satisfied and excited with this product of mine. And so hope it stays with me.

Like it!!
Cuz
Cleanses well.
Leaves skin nourished.
Focuses on massaging.
Scrubs off the impurities/makeup.
Comes with a cloth.
Cleanses quickly.
Takes off tough makeup.

Leave it !!
Cuz
has thick consistency.
A little expensive than others

You can have this cleanser from Liz Earle Webstore:  Here
The stater kit consisting of a 100 ml pump and two muslin cloths retails for about  £14.95. There also are some other options if you want to customize you selection to larger or smaller quantities.

So that was all from me.
 Hope you like the Review.
Will see ya all soon

  20. Amazing review on this hot cloth cleanser. I haven't tried Liz Earle products before, but I heard good things about them. :)

I like how there's a cloth included with the cleanser. Looks like they work very well together for thoroughly cleansing the skin. While reading what you like about the product, I can imagine the comforting feeling this product has on the skin while and after face washing.

Thank you so much for following my blog and leaving a comment on my imPRESS press-on nails review. I followed you back. Looking forward to visiting your blog again soon. Take care :)
