Brushing The Face; e.l.f Professional Face brushes

Hey friends!!
This is a really delayed post. I have been using these items for quite long now but have not been able to find a spot for them ;I give you four of E.l.f  Essential Professional brushes.

So these are What I was really trying to get for a long time. Since I had heard a a load of people commenting about and using them.

Well, The first two I came across were bought from elf Pakistan. where they cost me Rs.170/- each. The last two are from a dollar shop and retailed at CAD $1/- I really looked forward to trying them and were actually the only reason  why I had placed an order comprising other things too.

e.l.f Professional Eye Crease Brush:

I did want to get Eye shadow brush but as it was out of stock so I decided to get Eye crease brush instead that was also highly recommended. I hoped it will come in handy too. As expected it proved to be pretty nice for shading crease. It is kinda round shapes with same angle from all sides.
e.l.f Professional Eye Crease brush-Size

It carries a good amount of eye shadow and goes to and fro in crease pretty nicely. Bristles are smooth for a non synthetic brush with  proper density and length. The good thing about this brush is that it blends product easily and does not shed bristles at all.
I rate it : 4.5/5

e.l.f Professional Concealer Brush:

e.l.f Professional Concealer brush
It also proved to be as much as my expectations. Bristles are soft and is easy to go around the face concealing spots. The only thing which is bothersome is that it is far too small to give coverage to larger areas. I normally do not hide any blemishes but need a concealer brush to do justice to my around-mouth and under-eye pigmentation.

e.l.f Professional Concealer brush-Reaching Corners

It was helpful in reaching under eye areas which are harder to do with finger tip yet when I want to to conceal larger areas it makes me spend a lot of time than a bigger brush would have taken.
e.l.f Professional Concealer brush-Carrying Product
I have to dip in product and sweep multiple times to give complete coverage.
e.l.f Professional Concealer brush- Applied concealer with
It is soft, flexible and like crease brush, it also does not shed bristles. The brush shape reminds me of flat eye liner brush that usually comes along Maybelline Eye Studio Drama Gel eye liner.
I rate it :4/5

e.l.f Professional  Eye Shadow brush:

e.l.f Professional Eye Shadow brush
As much as I wanted to have eye shadow brush my sis in law brought one, without even knowing that I am craving to try it. So it was kinda wish come true. It has same density ,texture and  kind of bristles as crease brush has, with exception of being a flat brush.
e.l.f Professional Eye Shadow brush - Size
I found it quite well built; the flat angle helps applying eye shadow across the lid pretty easily. The size makes it easier to shape eye, as it reaches inner corner comfortably and I am able to make an outer corner with much ease.
e.l.f Professional Eye Shadow brush - Angle
I used it both for dry and wet application and it proved to be a perfect one for both of them. The flaw with this brush is its holder. The wooden stick gets off the metal part even after two uses. I finally had to use a little glue to attach it permanently, but it still shows gaps within.
e.l.f Professional Eye Shadow brush - Packaging
I rate it: 4.5/5

 e.l.f Professional Total Face brush:

e.l.f Professional Face Total brush
This was also brought by my sis in law. On first sight it really looks like an amazing brush; fluffy, full of bristles, large enough to go for whole face and a properly Sized holder. But as one goes along opening and trying it, it disappoints in every aspect. Undoubtedly it is large and dense but it has other side to it too. The bristles are not very smooth and are perky when come in contact with facial skin. They are also unable to pick up much product.

e.l.f Professional Face Total  brush - Size
The thing I dislike the most was that it start shedding off right from the first use.Though it has an amazing look to it, I did not find it as impressive as any of earlier three and it has become one of those item that I rarely reach for.
e.l.f  Professional Face Total brush - Bristles shedding
I rate it :2.5/5

So that was all about my experience with e.l.f brushes so far.
Hope it was useful.
See ya again.
Cheers.

  7. Thanks for this review. I use the black E.L.F. brushes. Studio line? I really like the crease brush, too. Good point about the concealer brush - I had been considering using a freebie gel liner brush for concealer and I think it's worth a go!

  8. I have the total face brush too, wasn't particularly impressed. I might try out one of the others now that I read your review though, they seem a lot better. Can't complain though, a bargain for the price.

  19. Hi dear, thanks for your input on my post. I am in desperate need of some good brushes and these look great. Especially the concealer and face brush, I think those two are most important to have. Doe the concealer brush leave any streaks?

    1. My pleasure dear!!It streaks very minimally. As it is small in size the streaks aren't that vivid.I normally just pat it or my finger, a little when i am done
